If you are visiting my blog for the first time-Thank You! If you are just checking in to see what I’ve been up to-Thank You!
Yes, it has been ages since the last post, and this will most likely be the last…..WHY?!
MY LIFE. My life is just too full of other exciting adventures. Between a full-time job, wife, two teenagers in the marching band and an exciting part-time hobby selling Stampin’ Up! I have barely enough time to write notes to myself let alone on this blog.
I have the utmost respect for those that are able to keep their blogs active and exciting a whole bunch of credit, as I truly enjoy seeing them. But for myself at this time I can’t.
I do however, have web site and thankfully run and managed (for the most part) by Stampin’ Up!
It would be awesome if you would come check it out and visit every so often.
As I said, I am only a part-time demonstrator and would love to have your support and would appreciate if you every needed any of the fabulous supplies from Stampin’ Up! you would definitely look to me. It really is part-time but does help me pay for my paper addiction.
Thank you all

Baby Card
I fell in love with this cute card that I saw on Splitcoast Stampers created by Emmy Soltren, I just knew I had to 'borrow' her design.
I used the Stampin' Up! Baby Bundle stamp set to make the onesies, the duck and the bear. I free cut them and simple added them to a side step card. Using Modern Label punch and Decorative Label Punch to 'cut out legs on the dresser'.
THANKS EMMY!

Top Note Frankie
Isn't he the cutiest Frankenstein you have ever seen?!
He was created (in my dungeon), my studio, OK OK so I made him one evening in my kitchen with a few Stampin' Up! products. And super easy to make.Cut 2 Wild Wasabi and 1 black from the Top Note Die. Sponge the edges.
Cut the black in half and give it a hair cut. Cut 1 1" circle punch from Wild Wasabi, and 2 whites. Also cut 2 3/4" circle punch from black and add a little white gel pen marks for his eyes. Cut 1 large oval Wild Wasabi for the nose. Attach everything to snack bag or box as seen in the picture.
Sending one of these to each of my Online Stampin' Up! club members. Hope you like them.

Thomas the Train
What little boy doesn't love Thomas the Train?!
I love how this turned out, and I wish I had some instructions for you, but I'm sorry I don't. I really had to improvise, cut and trim most of it. The cirlces are 1", 3/4" , 1/2" and Oval punchs from Stampin' Up.
ALL ABOARD in loving this card, say CHOO CHOO!
Clutch Purse
Always in seach of something different to use for gift cards I discovered this one on the Splitcoaststampers website.
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/fauxleatherwallet/
These cute little clutch purses can also be used for gift cards or may be some lipstick!
As with the men's wallets I suggest you do a test run with your sewing machine, just so you don't ruin your precious paper!

Wallets
Recently I was asked to make a few gift cards for friend to give as a Christmas gift for her nephews.
We all know how hard it is to create cards for men, so when she asked me to come up with gift card holders, I wondered what I could come up with.
Several searches, a few more gray hairs and just about ready to give up, I found this one on the Splitcoaststampers website. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com
I'm really pleased and excited on the way they turned out. And although I am not a seamstress I think it turned out quite nicely. My only advice or suggestion is to practice on a piece of scrap paper first. As there is NO ripping out if you make a mistake.

Angry Birds Birthday Card
I had soooooooooo much fun Re-creating this card.
I saw a fellow Stampin' Up demonstrate this using die cuts and punches. Not having the 4" die cut, I had to improvise a bit, and I think I pretty much Scored with it.
I saw a fellow Stampin' Up demonstrate this using die cuts and punches. Not having the 4" die cut, I had to improvise a bit, and I think I pretty much Scored with it.
Ingredients
Cricut Cart: Plantin Schoolbook, circle cut at 3 3/4". Heart cut on Italic at 2"
Stampin' Up! card stock: Crumb Cake, Real Red, So Saffron, White & Black
Ink: So Saffron & Black
Stampin' Up! Punch: Modern Label, 1/2" punch
Directions
Place your Crumb paper in upper right hand corner of mat followed by the red. Cut. Remove ONLY THE CIRCLE of the Crumb paper, NOT the excess. Now take the red circle and overlap this about 3/4 down ON TOP of the scrap of Crumb. Hit your repeat button. This will complete another circle, but cutting a moon shape out of the red. Remove and overlap on the Crumb.
Cut 2 circles whita at 1 1/4" and 2 black circles at 1/2".
Cut 2 squares from the So Saffron at 1 1/2" and 1". Cut these at an angle and shade them with So Saffron.
Using the Modern Punch, cut 2 and then trim about 1/4" off.
Assemble everything to resemble this Angry Bird. I used pop ups on the blacks of eyes and the upper bill.
Is'nt he the Cutiest Angry Bird you have every seen? And SUPER EASY!

Father's Day Tool Box
This cute little tool box was created using the Cricut Cartridge Sweet Treats.
Perfect for a gift card for Dad for Father's Day!
Start with 2 Tag cuts of Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip from Sweet Treats button #8 at 4 ". Run them through your Big Shot using the woodgrain folder.
Cut 2 pieces of Chocolate Chip card stock to 4 1/2 x 2 1/2. Score at 1/2 each end end and then along the bottom. Do this on each one.
Cut out small squares at the corners, now fold along the score line and apply a bead of a strong adhesive OR Sticky Strip to the 3 flaps.
Now score and fold the bottom of the tags at 1" and attach each tag to the panels again with either Sticky Strip or strong adhesive such as Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. To this to both panels.
I also cut a piece of 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 to close up the bottom-NO need to emboss this one. Than attach the bottom.
Finally add a greeting, such as this one for Father's Day with a piece of cordinating paper using a Stampin' Up! Modern Label punch. I than attached silver brads and adhered to the 'Tool Box'
Don't you just love it?! And so will that handy man in your life!

Fathers Day Card
Mothers Day isn't even here yet, and I've already created a Fathers Day card!
Come join us on June 12 at my Make & Take
So your probably wondering where I got the silver paper from...would you believe it's FOIL?!
Yep right from your kitchen drawer. This is a super easy technique that I found somewhere and have used it on many cards.
Take a piece of card stock, cut to size (nothing fancy) and a piece of foil just 1/4 to 1/2 larger. Next run some Tombow glue all over your card stock and glue your foil on. Yes, do put shiny side up. Now run a little glue along the EDGE, being careful not to go past the foil edge along the card stock. Now wrap like a present.
The last step is to run it through an embossing plate and VOILA silver paper.....See I told you super easy.
The stamp is from Hobby Lobby stamped with black. I did take a silver coloring pencil and shaded DAD a bit and then blended with Mineral Spirit. I tend to use coloring pencils and Mineral Spirit over the other coloring choices.
The brads are also from Hobby Lobby on sale for only $1.19 for a package of 24!
HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!
thanks to Melodylanedesign for the inspiration
