Glad hearts Inlaid Embossed card

We created this card last week at our monthly Glad Heart Stampers meeting.
I have recently become a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and I have to tell you I just love all their products. I have a wonderful and supportive team leader in Missy Shipman. She is very talented creative and really knows her stuff.
We do however, have to give credit to Connie Tumms for this card. This technique is called "Inlaid Embossing". It was super easy to make. We used 3 different punches sizes 1, 1 1/2 and 2" circle punches and glued them to the Pacific Point blue paper and ran it through the BigShot.  The look is truly impressive and really looks like it is all one piece.
The cupcake was punched out and stamped with the Create A Cupcake set. How cute is this?!

These were designed using the large binder clips from Staples. 12 will only cost you $4.99
The paper was cut at 2" x 3 1/2 and adhered with my ATG gun. Add a ribbon for that special touch.
Sooooo cute!

Display table with Senditagian cards
Here are a few pictures from the open house that I recently had in my home to introduce my SENDITAGAIN cards and to demonstrate some of the fabulous products from Stampin' Up. The overall turn out was great and everyone had a blast making some beautiful cards.

I made this card for our very dear friend's daughter. Stefanie is a very bright and enthusiastic young girl, who we would be more than happy to call her our daughter. She is a freshman at St. Pauls Smith College in Lake Placid NY majoring in Hospitality and Culintary Arts. She would love to become an events planner, and have the opportunity to plan, execute, host and throw eleborate parties, some how we think she likes to spend money. Am I right Dad, were does she get that from?!
I have had a lot of fun sending her cards every month, so when I came across this one, I immediately thought of Stef. I love the colors but especially love how the butterfly looks like it is going to spread it's wings and fly.
Just like our Stef has done. Love ya!

I used the Rock Princess Cart, button # 40
Shadow feature with brown at 3 1/2 "green and pink using the layer features.
Embossed using the paisley folder.
