Barbara Burrows and I am a Stampin" Up Independent Demonstrator in the Syracuse area. As a busy working wife and Mom to a teen and preteen, my life is filled in constant motion and when I first started designing cards, it was a way of relaxing and spending time for myself. But I have found that creating and designing each unique greeting card, has become a truly enjoyable experince. And I hope that I bring that to each and everyone of you when I host monthly card shows, and stamp camps!

COME ON IN and join me for a cup of Coffee, Tea or spiked Egg Nog!
I made these 'coffee mugs' for several people who needed just a special touch for the gift card holders that they were sending out.....Leave a comment and I promise one special person will receive one with a $5.00 gift card to their favorite coffee house!
Recipe for card....
Fold a piece of dark card stock in half, cut with 4" on the fold down to bottom of cup to 3"
Cut sleeve 2x4 1/2 and crimp with your crimper....this will be slighty larger, but that's OK. Trim once you place on card.
Cut a piece of white 4 1/4x2 1/2, score at 1 1/4
Attach a piece of 3x2 and glue on just the sides and bottom for the gift card holder.
Use any embossing folder to add texture to cup.
Recipe for Egg Nog...
1 c. purchased egg nog...who has the time for the real stuff, when this is just as good
1/2 c. bourbon....OK MAYBE NOT 1/2 c. but wouldn't that be fun....3oz ya wimp

Merry Christmas!
I've received so many compliments on a card I created I felt obligated to share my 'recipe'
So get out your pencils and paper and get ready to write, this could be difficult.....
Stampin' Up! 2" scallop punch for wreath in silver glitter, 1" circle punch for the inside.
Tiny hole punches for the holly's, with Stampin' Up red glitter
Base was cut at 5x3 3/4
Door was cut at 3x4, and then cut at 1 1/2"x1 1/2
Stamp your holiday greeting, add either a silver brad or embellishment for door knob, then add red bow to wreath.
Ok well, thats it! How super elegant is this?!

Ok, so I had these grand illusions of surprising our new neighbors with this miniature version of their new home, from the Winder Wonderland cart. Oooh myyy gooosh! Was it a royal pain in the arsh. With almost 2 house into this construction of cutting, scoring and gluing all these tiny pieces together I had enough of it!
Even though I designed it with the Fit To Page button, it was still very difficult to adhere all the tiny pieces together.
I reluctantly finished it, and not too overly pleased with it, I decided "How could I ever give something like this to our new neigbhors." "Come on now, after all I want them to think I perfect". Barbie is now ROTFL :)
But before I did, ROTFL, Barbiezilla came through, and well you can see what happen next.

So, if at first you don't succeed, ah screw all that nonsense and just scrap the whole project and go for something easier....

Stampin' Up!
This beautiful card was created for a good friend of ours who recently lost her sister. It's unfortunate that we must keep these type of cards on hand, but I wanted to make sure I created a special one for her....Notice the little blue bird, always there to remind you how precious life is.

These instruction were designed to be used with my unique senditagain cards. If you have received one of my cards, and you truly loved and enjoyed it, then someone else would too! Just remove your personal greeting on the inside and personalize it for that special person you plan to send it to. If you don't have an envelope and would like to senditagain, use this template to create one.
All you need to do is right click on the "Downloadable Envelope" below and select the choice "Open in New Window". A new page will open displaying the envelope, from there click on the word "file" just to the upper left corner of the envelope and choose "download original". Save it to your computer and print it again and again. It's that simple. Thank you for your support and I look forward to making and creating more senditagain cards for you.

No other excuses, but to say LIFE HAPPENS.
And although I truly love to blog and SHOW OFF my creations there are 3 VIPs and other IPs in my life that I love to spent time with.
Camping season is in full swing and we love to get in our RV and just travel on our days off. we have been planning a big trip with our Glamping friends to travel up to Nova Scotia next month and we are really looking forward to this trip.
In the meantime let me post this cute card, I received lots of suggestion from my friends on the Cricut Message board and I truly think they came up with a winner~thanks

Thanks a Melon
'Just Because' I needed to send a dear friend of ours a thank you card. He was kind enough he supply me with quite a bit of very nice quality card stock paper and envelopes for my SENDITAGAIN cards. Thanks so much Tom!
Just Because Cart, button #32
Size was 3 3/4" for the darker base, and then I reduced to create the white base to a 3 1/2". Used Swiss Dots to emboss just the white base. The phrase was cut at 2 1/2". The watermelon was cut at 3 1/2"
Please leave me a comment, as I love to see what you have to say.

Glad hearts Inlaid Embossed card
We created this card last week at our monthly Glad Heart Stampers meeting.
I have recently become a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and I have to tell you I just love all their products. I have a wonderful and supportive team leader in Missy Shipman. She is very talented creative and really knows her stuff.
We do however, have to give credit to Connie Tumms for this card. This technique is called "Inlaid Embossing". It was super easy to make. We used 3 different punches sizes 1, 1 1/2 and 2" circle punches and glued them to the Pacific Point blue paper and ran it through the BigShot. The look is truly impressive and really looks like it is all one piece.
The cupcake was punched out and stamped with the Create A Cupcake set. How cute is this?!

I made this card for our very dear friend's daughter. Stefanie is a very bright and enthusiastic young girl, who we would be more than happy to call her our daughter. She is a freshman at St. Pauls Smith College in Lake Placid NY majoring in Hospitality and Culintary Arts. She would love to become an events planner, and have the opportunity to plan, execute, host and throw eleborate parties, some how we think she likes to spend money. Am I right Dad, were does she get that from?!
I have had a lot of fun sending her cards every month, so when I came across this one, I immediately thought of Stef. I love the colors but especially love how the butterfly looks like it is going to spread it's wings and fly.
Just like our Stef has done. Love ya!
I used the Rock Princess Cart, button # 40
Shadow feature with brown at 3 1/2 "green and pink using the layer features.
Embossed using the paisley folder.

I'm getting things ready for my upcoming open house (see invite letter below) to introduce my SENDITAGAIN cards and celebrating my new career adventure with Stampin' Up.
I made this card as one of the cards that we will be demonstrating. I think it's a beautiful and elgant card to introduce, and yet easy enough for anyone to put together.
I used both the Stampin' Up Heart punch and my Accent Essential cart, button #36 at 2".
I really LOVE the Stampin' Up Glitter Paper. If you have ever used glitter paper before you know the kind of mess it makes, not only is it a little harder to cut but you end up with glitter ALL over the place. It ends up on your work space, hands and then your face- WHAT A MESS. Not with Stampin' Up Glitter Paper, it cuts like butter and never leaves glitter all over-Really!
You can add your own personal greeting but I used the Cleary for You stamps from SU.
I embossed using the Stampin' Up Elegant Lines folder. I truly love embossing as it really adds that extra special touch to your cards.
PLEASE leave me a comment to let me know what you think of this card.

I received a special gift from a fellow Cricut user from the message board. I have say they are all a super group of talented crafters who would do anything to help a fellow crafter.
I was looking for a specific cut off a cart that I did not have (nor could $$ right now) so I put out a plea to let ask if someone would send it to me, and within minutes I received a message letting me know she would.
Well, I wanted to show her my appreciation with these two unique and special SENDITAGAIN cards.
Psst..... you can see her button on the left with all the beautiful flowers. Thanks again Lorraine!

Winter Woodland Birthday invitations
I was asked to design and make invitations and party favors for a sweet 14 year old who is having a skating themed party.
I have to say I thought they came out quite lovely and I know she will love them, as will all her girlfriends.
They were made using the Winter Woodland cart, skate was cut at 4 1/2 " using silver card stock and paisely print for over lay. I used the Stampin' Up Snowflake embossing folder.
The purses were cut from the Forever Young cart, I used a 12x12 sheet of Stampin' Up Marina Mist card stock and used the FIT TO PAGE button.

Accent Essentials
I put this card together real quick last night using the Accent Essential cart.
Flowers were cut at 2 " with button #24, I made 4 and doubled up with pop-ups. The scallop was cut at 1 3/4" with button #46 and the circle is 1 1/4" with button #1.
I'm loving the neon pinks right now paired up with either black or green, so RETRO.
